Subject: 24.1; doc string of `map-char-table'
Date: Thu, 26 Jul 2012 12:56:45 -0700
The doc string does not describe the VALUE parameter of FUNCTION: what
its type is or what it does/means. How can someone use `map-char-table'
and come up with a FUNCTION without knowing what the parameters are for?

This information, from the Elisp manual, is apparently missing:

"The value is what `(char-table-range CHAR-TABLE KEY)' returns."

But even that does not seem to be enough to make sense of FUNCTION.

In GNU Emacs 24.1.1 (i386-mingw-nt5.1.2600)
 of 2012-06-10 on MARVIN
Windowing system distributor `Microsoft Corp.', version 5.1.2600
