Subject: EMACS_HEAPSIZE unexpanded (unused?)
Date: Fri, 05 Sep 2014 18:44:13 -0400
Package: emacs
Version: 24.4.50
Severity: minor

Current trunk on GNU/Linux, the generated src/Makefile contains an
unexpanded @EMACS_HEAPSIZE@. It's not used for anything, so it doesn't
really matter, but it seems like bad form. It would be better for it to
expand to the empty string, like it does in the emacs-24 branch.
Or perhaps it is now entirely unused and should just be removed?

BTW, there's no ChangeLog entry that says when EMACS_HEAPSIZE was
removed from configure.ac.

It seems it was
http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/emacs-diffs/2014-05/msg00255.html

The ChangeLog entry should be improved.
