In windows with different face height than the default face, the fringe
is displayed incorrectly after scrolling the window using the mouse
wheel. The attached image shows how the left fringe is incorrectly
updated after scrolling the windows upwards with the mouse wheel. The
face used on that window is defined with a height scale of 0.9.


In GNU Emacs 23.1.92.34 (x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 2.18.6)

Could you try the patch I posted as a followup to Bug#6325?
(Available from http://debbugs.gnu.org/cgi/bugreport.cgi?bug=6325 .
You can use the link `mbox' to download the message text containing
the patch.)
It is for another issue on fringe, but might also work for this case.

I'm sorry I didn't see that subtle change and worked with the wrong version.
Anyway, I've repeated the same tests with these changes and all worked fine.
