## Steps to reproduce the issue under Gnome:

1. Invoke `emacs -Q` in any terminal emulator to start Emacs along with
=C2=A0=C2=A0 its GUI frame.
2. Mark/highlight some area of text with your mouse pointer. OR use
=C2=A0=C2=A0 C-Space and keyboard movement shortcuts to do the same.
3. Use `C-w` or `M-w` to kill or kill-save the marked text.
5. Emacs crashes.

NOTE1: The problem is reproducible both when marking with mouse cursor
=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0 or when marking with keyboard shortcut=
s.
NOTE2: Using `kill-region` or `kill-ring-save` commands results in the
=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0 same state.
NOTE3: Copying or cutting text outside Emacs and yanking inside Emacs
=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0=C2=A0 works without any problem.

## State of the issue under Sway:

Just Killing doesn't make Emacs to crash, but then trying to paste it
into other applications make Emacs to crash.

## State of the issue under Weston:

Copying and cutting outside of Emacs and yanking into Emacs works
without issues.=C2=A0 Killing inside Emacs doesn't make it to crash, but=20
it also doesn't paste inside other applications, and makes the current
clipboard to get empty.

## Workaround:
Set variable `select-enable-clipboard` to `nil`.

It's saying right.=C2=A0 When I ran the bug report command, Emacs was invok=
ed
with both `-Q` and `--debug-init` flags.=C2=A0 But the issue and backtrace =
is the
same, nonetheless.

By the way!=C2=A0 I have tried `emacs-pgtk-native-comp-git` of AUR, which i=

Emacs dev master branch (30.0.50.171462) with PGTK and I could NOT
reproduce the bug.=C2=A0 This is the only available package of Emacs dev br=
anch
with PGTK enabled, in Arch Linux.
