Currently newline-and-indent does not accept numeric agrument, thus, for example C-u 5 M-x newline-and-indent does not create 5 newlines, while C-u 5 M-x newline does I want to propose this function to accept numeric argument. It is useful when one has newline-and-indent bound to RET. Also if next-line-add-newlines set to true, it is helpful to enable C-u 5 M-x next-line to create 5 newlines, when end of buffer is met.
