Message #5 received at submit <at> debbugs.gnu.org (full text, mbox):
Hello,
Yesterday I added an external monitor to my laptop and created two
frame; one on each screen. Then I looked for a command to cycle
between windows and frames and couldn't find what I wanted in emacs or
elisp reference manuals. I tried to write my command but without
success. Searching on the internet I found that next-multiframe-window
(previous-multiframe-window) command is what I looked for. I think it
would be useful to mention this command in both emacs manuals in
paragraphs where other-window and other-frame commands are described.
Thanks in advance,
Seweryn

(I'm going through old bug reports that have unfortunately gotten no
responses yet.)
Yes, that seems like a very useful command, and it's not mentioned
anywhere in the manual, as far as I can see.
I've now mentioned that command in the section that talks about
other-window.

Thanks.
When you mention in a manual something that isn't described in the
same section, please always consider adding a cross-reference to where
that something _is_ described. We should normally assume that a
subject described in another section is not something the reader is
necessarily well familiar with.

Yup; will try to remember doing so in the future.
