Evaluate:

(cl-defgeneric abc (&optional (arg 3)))

M-x describe-function RET abc

See `arg' rendered in the lower case.

Not so in functions only defined using cl-defmethod, or with cl-defun.

I think I've now fixed this in Emacs 27.
