In Guix I worked around this with: https://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/guix.git/commit/?id=3Da6e22d84450450cac= c6fc36445f6ae378a5b7ad0 A bit of a hack, but it looks better: configuration.scm:135:1: missing closing parenthesis In Guile proper, we could replace =E2=80=9Cend of file=E2=80=9D with =E2=80= =9Cmissing closing parenthesis=E2=80=9D, which would already be an improvement, though we=E2= =80=99d still see that =E2=80=9Cscm_i_lreadparen=E2=80=9D and maybe =E2=80=9Cice-9=E2=80= =9D here and there.
