Hello and please excuse the form of the message and concentrate on the
substance of it, am a user and not a programmer and therefore use the
most convenient way to let you know what is the problem. Please see
below.

If I run the latest snapshot of Emacs (of version 27) in a Virtual
Terminal in Ubuntu if I go to echo area and press C-g twice (cancel
cancel) I got a freezing emacs with point still blinking, I did not
find any other way but to kill it and restart. If I install the stable
version (currently version 25) - this issue apparently did not
happens. I am just testing it so that is why I say apparently, but
with the combination mentioned it works fine. Ready to provide any
further details if needed, and thanks for a great work so far!

When you say "the latest snapshot", what does that mean in terms of
the repository version from which it was produced? Can you tell what
was the latest commit on the master branch used to produce this build?

Also, please provide all the details collected by the command
"M-x report-emacs-bug RET" about your build and your system
configuration.

And finally, does this happen if you invoke Emacs as "emacs -Q"?

Thanks.

For what it's worth, I cannot reproduce the problem on Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS
x86-64. In an Ubuntu Terminal window, I ran this shell command:

src/emacs -Q -nw

and typed "M-x foo C-g C-g". The first C-g did a Quit as expected, and the
second C-g did another Quit.

For me, report-emacs-bug output the following info:

Thanks. But please tell when you find what was causing this, because
it could still be some bug in Emacs, just one that doesn't happen in
"emacs -q".

Please also try to make sure you use the latest master branch, if
that's not so already.

Hi, this looks similar to Bug#29347 which should be fixed now. Does
your problem still occur with more recent Emacs versions?

thanks, I don't get this problem for the last few months I am thinking
that I have changed some behavior in my relations with my emacs which
renders the problem irrelevant to me. Happy to hear that it fixed.

Ok, so it's not 100% clear if it's the same, but since you're not
