Hi Guix,

I've installed eog (I'm using the i3 window manager not running full
gnome) and when I try to start I get the message:

(eog:4303): GLib-GIO-ERROR **: 17:24:48.960: Settings schema 'org.gnome.desktop.thumbnailers' is not installed
Trace/breakpoint trap
--8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---

After which eog fails to start.

Hello

This issue #38923 seems to be the same as issue #43220. The latter
provides some additional information. Does installing gsettings-
desktop-schemas allows to run EOG? If so, may be this issue #38923
could be merged with the latter one?
