Oh, sounds scary.  Do we have an open bug report for that?

Here is the bug report.

I hadn't reported it because I didn't think that the Guix kernel configs
should be required to produce working kernels for other operating
systems.

I think I had initially misread that: the config we have in Guix creates
kernels that won’t work for Debian, is that right?

If so, then it’s not-a-bug from our perspective, IMO.
