[Message part 1 (text/plain, inline)]
emacs -Q
M-: (grep "grep -n emacs configure") RET

Everything works fine:

[Message part 2 (image/png, inline)]
[Message part 3 (text/plain, inline)]
Repeat:

M-: (grep "grep -n emacs configure") RET

Things do not work now:

[Message part 4 (image/png, inline)]
[Message part 5 (text/plain, inline)]
Because the second time around it did not add "/dev/null" at the end
there.

Adding a -H would have fixed this, but calling the same function twice
should either fail both times, or work both times.

This has been fixed in Emacs 29 by making it fail both times,
apparently.
