Subject: outline obsolete functions replaced by using outiline- prefix
Date: Sun, 11 Jul 2021 06:18:25 +0200 (CEST)
[Message part 1 (text/plain, inline)]
Have encountered outline-minor-mode with the commands `(hide-entry)`, `(show-entry)`, ...

But looking through the code I see equivalent commands, namely `outline-hide-entry` and

`outline-show-entry`.  Looks like the previous two commands are to became obsolete.

Actually the functions became obsolete since 25.1, but I can still use them in GNU Emacs 28.0.50.

Functions are marked as obsolete some years before they're removed.
Since they were marked as obsolete in Emacs 25.1, they'll probably be
removed in Emacs 29 (depending on when that happens).

So what you're seeing is totally normal. Closing.
