  What happened:
Recording a time stamp when you don't have a newline after the org
heading will: error with [1], split the window and insert the state
above the heading.  If you have a heading above, it will insert the
state under that heading.

[1] Error in post-command-hook (org-add-log-note): (user-error "Before firs=
t headline at position 1 in buffer test")

  What I thought would happen:
It would insert the state info under the current heading.
  (In this example 'testheading')

  To reproduce:
