Subject: Go importer fails on projects located in a sub-directory of a
 repository
Date: Sat, 06 Nov 2021 14:44:02 +0100
Hello,

It seems that Go importer errors on projects located in sub-directories
of a repository.

For example,

  guix import go github.com/Azure/go-autorest/autorest/adal

fails with

#<<git-error> code: -3 message: "reference 'refs/tags/v0.9.17' not found" class: 4>

Other problematic projects include

- github.com/decred/dcrd/lru
- cloud.google.com/go/storage
- google.golang.org/grpc/cmd/protoc-gen-go-grpc

Regards,
--
Nicolas Goaziou
