Package: cc-mode

Since a recent change to CC Mode, editing commands which insert or
delete whitespace have become very slow in certain files.

I have access to two three or four different files which exhibit this
problem, but could not narrow them down into a form I can publish.
Thankfully, this file:

  https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ioccc-src/mkiocccentry/master/iocccsize.c

seems to exhibit it too, though not as much.  Go to line 89 of that
file, and then hold down RET: doing so is notably slower than in Emacs
29.
