Subject: 29.1; ada-mode 8.1.0 cursor jumps back when editing if incremental
 parsing is enabled
Date: Mon, 20 Nov 2023 16:13:50 +0000
Package: emacs, ada-mode

Hi,

In ada mode 8.1.0 with incremental parsing enabled, there is this issue:

When typing in an ada source file
Activate : constant Debug.T
  := Debug.Create ("Activate

When typing the double quote and what follows, the cursor always jumps back to the double ".
This makes editing difficult.

As Stephen indicated, disabling which-function-mode is a workaround, so
the issue seems related to this.

Thanks,
Jurgen De Backer
