Subject: 29.1; ada-mode 8.1.0 -> Restarting the (wisi) parser seems to not
 fully reset the state
Date: Thu, 23 Nov 2023 11:08:12 +0000
Package: emacs, ada-mode

Hi,

I was editing a file and started to have indentation not working anymore.
Each time I type Tab, I see that the parser died in *Ada-wisi-parser.log*
but no specific message.

(Starting a new emacs on the same file shows no problem.)

Typing Ada -> Misc -> Restart parser
seems to not fully reset the state (because a new fresh emacs does not have a problem)

I did C-x C-v to just reload the same file and then all was back to ok.
I found no specific information in a buffer about a parsing problem/crash except the process died.

So it looks like restart parser should cleanup more of the internal state of the buffer.

But sadly this is not really reproducible.

Thanks

Jurgen De Backer
