Message #5 received at submit <at> debbugs.gnu.org (full text, mbox):
Hello,
On an up-to-date Guix version, the package cube fails to build:
guix build cube
[...]
checking Qt specification... linux-g++
checking for Qt's version...
configure: error: Cannot detect Qt's version.
configure: error: ./configure failed for build-backend
This impacts the package scorep-openmpi, which depends on cube.
And while solving this bug, cube could be updated to version 4.8.2
Thanks!

Hello Philippe,
I am working to fix it in a larger effort to write a Scalasca recipe (which needs Score-P, which needs Cube...).
I have pushed some new Cube recipes here [ https://codeberg.org/guix/guix/pulls/102 | https://codeberg.org/guix/guix/pulls/102 ] , and you can find the Scalasca roadmap here [ https://codeberg.org/lcirrottola/guix/milestone/19626 | https://codeberg.org/lcirrottola/guix/milestone/19626 ]
Feel free to comment / fix / criticize :-)
Cheers,
Luca
