The Guix Build Coordinator consists of one “coordinator”, and one or
more connected “agent” processes. The coordinator process handles
clients submitting builds, and allocating builds to agents. The agent
processes talk to a build daemon to actually perform the builds, then
send the results back to the coordinator.
Existe un guión para ejecutar el componente de coordinación del
servicio de coordinación de construcciones de Guix, pero el servicio de
Guix utiliza un guión Guile personalizado en vez de este, para mejorar
la integración con las expresiones-G usadas en la configuración.

I'm based in Europe/Austria, I'm a German native speaker, I have my
system language set to english and my regional settings set to
germen-luxemburg (as this gives me ISO date format as a standard).
I don´t speak Spanish at all.
I have also been able to reproduce this on two of my other machines.
One is running Ubuntu 24.04.02 LTS with the following locale settings:
#+BEGIN_EXAMPLE text
# set | grep -E "(LANG|LC)"
LANG=en_US.UTF-8
LC_ADDRESS=de_LU.UTF-8
LC_IDENTIFICATION=de_LU.UTF-8
LC_MEASUREMENT=de_LU.UTF-8
LC_MONETARY=de_LU.UTF-8
LC_NAME=de_LU.UTF-8
LC_NUMERIC=de_LU.UTF-8
LC_PAPER=de_LU.UTF-8
LC_TELEPHONE=de_LU.UTF-8
LC_TIME=de_LU.UTF-8

And the other is Windows 11 running Ubuntu 24.04.02 LTS in WSL2 wit the
following locale settings:
#+BEGIN_EXAMPLE text
# set | grep -E "(LANG|LC)"
LANG=en_US.UTF-8
#+END_EXAMPLE

Indeed the Debian or Ubuntu package for guix makes “info guix” appear in
Spanish for me, too. This is unexpected (I did not know) but probably
not a bug, but the normal behavior of info.
Use “info guix.de” to get the German manual.
The command for the English manual is:
info "(guix)"
You can also select the language at the start of the manual.
This appears to be so, because the Debian/Ubuntu guix package
(rightfully, but unlike Guix System) adds the manual in all languages to
the info directory. When you enter only “info”, you see that Spanish
comes first.
Not sure yet what/if we want to change something here.

I suppose in general the command env is more reliable, that is
env | grep -E "(LANG|LC)"

thank you for your suggestions.

What was confusing me was that the text was partly in English and partly
in German and I though this would probably a very weird bug.
But of course it's not. It's just an older Spanish version which is not
yet fully translated.
It all makes sense now.
So yeah, I don't think there is a need to change anything here.
Cheers

I just noticed, after guix pull, `info guix` defaults to the English
manual for me (like longer `info "(guix)"`), because INFOPATH is set to
the directory /home/florian/.guix/current/share/info and this directory
exists now and has the English guix manual come first in
`info /home/florian/.guix/current/share/info/dir`.
This should hold for you as well after `guix pull`.
If not, what is the value of `echo $INFOPATH`?
Regards,
Florian
