Message #5 received at submit <at> debbugs.gnu.org (full text, mbox):
--8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8---
(defun vc--fileset-by-state (fileset)
"..."
(cl-destructuring-bind (backend remaining &rest _ &aux ret-val)
fileset
;; code using BACKEND and REMAINING but not _
ret-val))
--8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---
generates
--8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8---
In toplevel form:
vc/vc.el:5274:51: Warning: variable ‘_’ not left unused
--8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---
This is because the generated expansion does (pop _) to obtain BACKEND
and REMAINING. It should use a gensym, not the user's `_'.
