Hi,

I can confirm this one and it leads to trouble when using desktop-save
because when restoring emacs is stuck on this "Directory for:" prompt.

Sorry about that, this should now be fixed.

I believe that it was hidden from me because I have
vc-deduce-backend-nonvc-modes customised to t.
