Thanks, but that's not the best idea in the case you describe: you
should instead use your email address(es) as the cdr of the entry, so
that _all_ your contributions are always spelled like you want in
etc/AUTHORS, and so that they all are attributed to a single person.

Howdy!

Depending on the operating environment, I write my name with or without
diacritics.  For example, in the Org repository, some of my commits say
Rudolf Adamkovic while others say Rudolf Adamkovi=C4=8D.  This patch adds an
appropriate alias to `admin/authors.el'.
